Hi my crafty readers! It’s time for another book-themed kid craft tutorial on Glued To My Crafts and today’s paper plate sleeping bear idea one goes along perfectly with the classic book from New York Times bestselling team of Karma Wilson and Jane Chapman!

Paper Plate Sleeping Brown Bear

I call this crafty tutorial our Paper Plate Sleeping Bear and it’s themed around the charming book Bear Snores On.

In the bear themed children’s book, several different animals find their way out of the bitter cold and into Bear’s cave to warm up. After trying several different ways to wake him, Bear just snores on. You’ll have to read the book to see what happens when he finally does wake up and sees his cave full of uninvited guests—all of them having a party without him!

Now back to today’s craft tutorial and the real reason for this blog post. As you probably have learned to expect from me – this kid friendly brown bear activity is super easy, inexpensive and fun for all ages. Plus the finished bear craft piece is super adorable, so that in itself is worth a reason to make.

So enough chit chat from me! Let’s grab our supplies, find the full tutorial below for the paper plate brown bear and get to work! No snoring on the job please! Happy crafting, my dear friends!
