Pigeon Craft Made From A Paper Plate
Have you seen all the fun and creative kid crafts we have been doing {and sharing on Glued To My Crafts} that are centered around our favorite children’s book?
Well – continuing on with the fun theme, today I have another EASY paper plate pigeon kid craft that goes along great with the book series by Mo Williems.
This tissue paper pigeon kid craft is not only super fun, simple and inexpensive BUT it also goes along perfectly with the Pigeon Presents series {our personal fav being – The Duckling Gets A Cookie!?}
So what are you waiting for? Grab your supplies, follow the step by step tutorial below and get to work. Don’t forget to raid your local library so you have some books to read in honor of you adorable paper pigeon creation!

This tissue paper and paper plate pigeon is a super creative kids craft idea that’s perfect for any age!
Craft Supplies:
- Large Paper Plate {one per pigeon craft}
- Baby Blue Tissue Paper
- White Cardstock Paper
- Black Cardstock Paper
- Yellow Cardstock Paper
- School Glue
- Kid Friendly Craft Scissors
- Hand-Held Office Stapler

Directions:
- First cut your light blue colored tissue paper into small squares {let the kids practice their cutting skills}
- Take your paper plate and put a good amount of glue all over it.
- Have children place the tissue paper on top of the glue, until the paper plate is completely covered.
- While they are working on that, cut out the pigeon’s eye, beak and a small piece of his neck/collar from the various sheets of cardstock paper.
- To finish off the paper plate pigeon kid craft – simply staple/glue the cardstock pieces to the paper plate and display proudly!

Supplies:
