Craft Supplies:
- Mini Popsicle Sticks
- Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
- School Glue
- Pink Craft Paint
- Paint Brush
- Red Puffy Paint
- Yellow Puffy Paint
- Scissors
- Light Brown Cardstock Paper
Directions:
- First things first things – start off by gluing together TWO mini popsicle sticks and THREE jumbo popsicle sticks to create a “fence.”
- Repeat for each hot dog you want to make.
- Next have children paint the front of their newly made popsicle stick shape to give it the look of a hot dog {I did pink but you could also mix some red and brown paint for a more realistic hot dog color}
- While they are working on that, cut out a oval “bun” shape from the brown cardstock. Remember – you will want it slightly bigger than your popsicle stick shape.
- To finish off the Hot Dog Craft, glue the popsicle stick shape and cardstock bun pieces together and add some puffy paint “ketchup and mustard” on top.
- When done, set aside to let it dry completely and display proudly afterwards!
