Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks – 9 per craft
  • Craft Felt {any color}
  • Scissors
  • School Glue
  • Large Googly Eyes
  • Embellishments

Directions:

Once your materials are ready, let’s get crafting!

  • Begin by creating the base of your popsicle stick dog. Arrange seven popsicle sticks side by side to form a fence-like structure, then glue two sticks horizontally across them to secure the shape.
  • Set it aside to dry completely.
  • Once dry, let the kids paint the front of the popsicle stick base in any color they like for a personalized touch.
  • To bring your Popsicle Stick Dog to life, cut out a large triangular piece for the dog’s face, along with smaller felt pieces for the ears, eyes, paws, and tail.
  • Attach these felt pieces to the popsicle stick base using glue, then add wiggle eyes for extra charm.
  • Finally, let your creativity shine! Decorate with glitter, rhinestones, or additional paint to make your craft truly unique. Display proudly once complete!
