Toothbrush Craft Idea For Kids

Inspired by one of my lovely followers on Instagram recently, today I present to YOU our Popsicle Stick Toothbrushes kid craft idea!

This DIY toothbrush craft idea is perfect for a dental themed activity in the classroom, a make and take for a dental office {think promotional booth at a fair or fundraiser} or even just a fun craft to do with the kids this afternoon! You could even bookmark this very post for an activity for National Dental Hygiene Month in October!

Popsicle Stick Toothbrushes- Kid Craft

Make unique toothbrushes out of popsicle sticks and let them create different designs.

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
  • Craft Paint
  • Paint Brushes
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Scissors
  • School Glue

Directions:

  • First have children paint their popsicle stick {toothbrush handle} any color they like!!! Just like in real life – toothbrushes can come in many colors and designs!
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Next is the bristles! Grab some white cardstock and cut out a small rectangular.
  • Go ahead and make small slits all along the side to represent the “brush” aspect.
  • To finish off the Popsicle Stick Toothbrush – glue your white cardstock piece in place.
  • Then let it dry completely before displaying proudly!!!
  • To added fun, have children write their name on the toothbrush handle!
