Paper Christmas Apron Ornament
Not only is it simple to make, but it’s also a great way to get the little ones in the Christmas spirit. So gather up some supplies and get started!
Craft Supplies:
- Page 1 Apron Printable on Box.com
- Page 2 Apron Printable on Box.com
- Cardstock Paper {two sheets!}
- Color Printer
- Crayons, Markers or Coloring Pencils
- Paper Craft Scissors
- Glue Stick
- Single Hole Punch
- Ribbon or Twine
- Small Embellishments/Ribbon
Directions:
- First print out the TWO free provided printables. The apron should be on colored piece of paper, while the second page can be either printed on white or brown paper.
- Now, if desired, go ahead and color in the designs in the two printables. The choice is yours!
- When ready, using your scissors, trim out the pieces to complete your ornament. You only need ONE half circle cutout {with your favorite saying – there are six to choose from!} per apron. As for the idea behind the gingerbread men, my intent was for you to have ONE cutout per child in the family. Example – if making this craft for grandma and grandma has three grandchildren, you would cut out three gingerbread men to represent each child.
- Now go ahead and glue/decorate your apron cutout however you like. This is when the customization comes into play! I added stickers and pretty ribbon to mine. I suggest starting with half circle piece in the center and building from there.
- When done decorating, grab the hole punch.
- Punch two holes in the apron piece, so you can turn your paper piece into an ornament.
- Finally – add some twine and/or ribbon through the hole punched hole, so you can display it proudly on the tree.
- And that’s it! You now have a awesome paper Christmas baking apron ornament to show off ALL season long!
