Start your Christmas season off right by making some beautiful stained glass ornaments to hang on the tree. It’s a fun craft for kids!
Craft Supplies:
- Ornament Pattern Printable
- Clear Contact Paper
- White Cardstock Paper
- Scissors
- Loose Craft Sequins or Glitter
- Decorative Ribbon Scraps
Directions:
- First print the FREE ornament printable that is listed above in the supply list. You need to print it once, per ornament craft you want to make today.
- Using your scissors, trim out the ornament piece, as well as the center of it.
- Now grab your contact paper and cut two pieces the same length.
- Take off the protective paper off one and lay it on a flat surface.
- Lay your ornament cutout on the contact paper.
- Grab a handful of sequins and drop them on the contact paper, inside the ornament shape.
- Spread them around so the area is nice and flat. Add more sequins if you want.
- Finally – the last real step – grab the other piece of contact paper and remove it’s protective sheet.
- Then lay it on top of the other piece and press firmly. Make sure every corner is stuck together.
- To finish off the craft, use your scissors to trim out the ornament.
- For an added touch you can grab a piece of ribbon, tie it into a bow and add it to your finished piece.
- Then display your stained glass Christmas ornament piece proudly on a window.
