Cork Coaster Turned Reindeer Ornament For The Christmas Tree

Why not make your family’s Christmas tree a spectacular homemade one, with today’s Cork Reindeer Ornament tutorial?!

Not only are these reindeer cork coaster ornaments super simple for anyone to recreate but they are absolutely adorable too! My favorite part is probably the unique clothespin “antlers” that I just “pinched” on. It’s literally so easy peasy to recreate these!

Did I also mention they are really inexpensive too? Especially if you are on a budget! You can easily buy everything you need in bulk and make multiples, all at once, in no time. You can possibly even wrap them up for your holiday gifting needs! The lucky receiver I’m sure will love it!

DIY Cork Reindeer Ornament For The Christmas Tree

Cork Reindeer Ornament

Are you looking for a unique and creative Christmas gift idea? These cork reindeer ornaments are perfect! They’re easy to make, only require a few supplies, and will definitely stand out from the rest of the gifts on your recipient’s tree!

Craft Supplies:

  • Cork Coasters
  • Medium Sized Wiggle Eyes
  • Large Red Craft Buttons
  • Wooden Clothespins
  • Brown Pipe Cleaners
  • Craft Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Hot Glue Sticks
  • Baker’s Twine or Ribbon

Directions:

  • For one cork reindeer ornament you need: 1 cork piece, 2 wiggle eyes, 1 red button, 2 clothespins, 2 small pieces of brown pipe cleaner.
  • Set aside those supplies for each ornament you want to make.
  • Take two small pieces of pipe cleaner and place one in each of your clothespins.
  • Bend them a bit and then attach {or in lamest terms, pinch} those pieces to the cork piece. This is the reindeer’s antlers.
  • Once those are in place – hot glue the wiggle eyes and red nose to the cork piece.
  • To finish off the reindeer – hot glue some baker’s twine to the back, for easy hanging.
  • Then display and/or gift away proudly!
