Paper Bag Gingerbread House Craft Supplies:
* Large Brown Paper Bags {one per gingerbread house craft}
* White Puffy Paint
* Loose Craft Sequins
* School Glue
* Hand-Held Office Stapler
* Shredded Paper or Old Newspapers
optional – glitter glue, cardstock, rhinestones etc.
Directions:
* First fill your brown paper bag with a little bit of shredded paper on the bottom. This will help your piece stand up tall and have some weight to it.
* Next fold down your paper bag to close and staple it to create a roof {see my picture for example}
* Now you are ready for the fun part – the embellishments! Grab your puffy paint and add “icing” on the paper bag to really give the look of a gingerbread house.
* Top off with some sequins and any other embellishments you see fit.
* Then set it ALL aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly! Remember – this is also a clever way to “snaz” up gifts you may be handing out this year too!!!
