Paper Plate Bubble Wrap Jelly Fish - Kid Craft

Paper Plate Bubble Wrap Jelly Fish - Kid Craft

Create a jellyfish from the comfort of your own home with this simple but fun paper plate & bubble wrap craft tutorial from us!

Craft Supplies:

  • Large Paper Plate
  • Paper Craft Scissors
  • Craft Paint {any color you like!}
  • Large Paint Brush
  • Bubble Wrap
  • Hand-Held Office Stapler
  • School Glue
  • Large Wiggle Eyes

Directions:

  • First cut your large paper plate in half. Straight up the center to make two equal sized pieces.
  • Reserve one half for today’s craft and save the other to double this craft or for a rainy day.
  • Now have children paint their paper plate half however they like. This is the jellyfish’s body.
  • While they are working on that, grab your bubble wrap and cut it into several strips. You can do them as thick as you like and as many as you like.
  • Once your child is done painting, set aside the painted paper plate piece to let them all dry completely.
  • When ready, grab your stapler.
  • Staple the bubble wrap “tentacles” to the paper plate half.
  • To finish off the Paper Plate Bubble Wrap Jellyfish – glue the wiggle eyes to the decorated paper plate.
  • At this point in time you can add other embellishments {like rhinestones, glitter or even feathers} you see fit before displaying your beautiful jellyfish proudly!!!

Paper Plate & Bubble Wrap Jelly Fish Craft

This fun and easy paper plate craft is perfect for kids of all ages! It's a great way to use up some of that leftover bubble wrap.

Here’s your checklist of supplies to bring this craft to life:

  • 1 Large Paper Plate
  • Craft Paint
  • 2 Wiggle Eyes
  • Bubble Wrap
  • Scissors
  • Large Paint Brush
  • Stapler
  • School Glue

Prepare your creative haven by laying down a protective cover before the crafting magic begins!

Directions:
