Paper Chalk Art Jellyfish - Kid Craft

Get crafty with the kids this weekend and make some of these super cute paper jellyfish!

Craft Supplies:

  • Jellyfish Printable – ON OUR LANDING PAGE
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Crayons, Markers, Coloring Pencils etc.
  • Scissors
  • Black Construction Paper
  • Sidewalk Chalk
  • Baby Wipes
  • Glue Stick or Tape Runner Adhesive

Directions:

  • First things first – download our free jellyfish body printable, listed above in the supply list.
  • Next, go ahead and find it on your computer, right click and print the file on a single sheet of white cardstock. One print makes ONE jellyfish craft. Print as many as you like but only use our file for personal use only please.
  • Now that you have the printable, go ahead and color in the body of the jellyfish however you like. You can use crayons, markers, coloring pencils – whatever!
  • When done coloring in the oval shape, use the scissors to trim it out.
  • Discard excess paper.
  • Now grab a single sheet of black cardstock and your glue stick.
  • Go ahead and glue the jellyfish body cutout ANYWHERE on the black cardstock but make sure to leave some room underneath it, so you can make your tentacles.
  • Now grab your chalk and make several “squiggle” lines going outward from the jellyfish’s body. Add as many lines and colors that you like.
  • Use baby wipes to clean off excess chalk from fingers and hands.
  • When done with the chalk, add any other embellishments you see fit {maybe some glitter or ocean themed stickers!}
  • Then display your chalk art jellyfish paper piece proudly for all to see!
