  • Take off the protective paper off one and lay it on a flat surface.
  • Lay your paper cutout on the sticky side of the contact paper, face down.
  • If desired, shake some loose craft glitter on top of the contact paper {inside the design} to really add some pops of color.
  • Now grab your crepe paper and tear several small squares pieces off.
  • Have your child place those pieces on top of the contact paper, inside the design, to fill it in with color.
  • Once done, grab the other piece of contact paper and remove it’s protective sheet.
  • Lay it on top of the other piece and press firmly, making sure every corner is stuck together.
  • Now cut around the jellyfish design to remove the excess paper.
  • To finish off the Tissue Paper Jellyfish Suncatcher, tear and staple several long strips of the second color of crepe paper, to the design, to create the tentacles.
  • Finally, glue on the two wiggle eyes so he can see.
  • Then display proudly on a bright window or on the kitchen fridge with a few pieces of clear tape!

Use Age-Appropriate Supplies - Choose craft supplies that are suitable for your child’s age. Check labels for recommendations and avoid items with small parts or sharp edges for younger children. Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible.
