Did you know Earth Day is fast approaching?
Although EVERY day should be a celebration of our beautiful planet, it’s widely celebrated on April 22nd, every year.
Not many people know {or celebrate it} but it’s a day to honor the Earth and take notice on what we leave behind. When it comes to our house, we try to recycle and reduce as much as we can – throughout the year. We even have a compost bin in our backyard. It’s our way of helping the planet and leaving a less carbon footprint.
Several of my crafts {mainly kid crafts} have been focused on using recycled materials to make something new.
And today’s Egg Carton Tree kid craft tutorial is doing exactly that!
We took something we normally would have thrown away and turned it into beautiful art. Keep scrolling to see the full tutorial and be inspired to make a difference as well!
Happy crafting, my friends! Please don’t forget to share pictures of upcycled tree art creation! #gluedtomycrafts
