Using just a simple leftover egg carton, it’s the perfect canvas to make the face of your reindeer. Then with just some creativity, tons of paint and glue – your red-nosed friend can come to life in no time!

Looking for a fun, easy, and festive way to recycle egg cartons? Look no further than this simple cardboard reindeer craft idea for kids!
Craft Supplies:
- Egg Carton
- Small Paper Plate
- Brown Craft Paint
- Paint Brush
- Hot Glue Gun
- Large Red Pom Poms
- Gold Pipe Cleaners
- Large Wiggle Eyes
Directions:
- First separate the lid from the compartments of the cardboard egg carton.
- Now tear off “TWO” side by side compartments, from either end of the egg carton. This will be the face of ONE reindeer.
- Next squirt some brown craft paint on the paper plate.
- Use the foam paint brush to paint your egg carton piece completely brown.
- When done with the painting step, it’s time to get the glue gun hot and ready.
- Go ahead and take ONE gold pipe cleaner and bend it with your fingers, to create reindeer antlers.
- Now hot glue the pipe cleaner antlers to the painted egg carton.
- To finish off the Egg Carton Reindeer craft, go ahead and glue on the wiggle eyes eyes and pom pom nose.
- Add other embellishments that you see fit {maybe some ribbon on the back or a nice small craft bow in the corner.}
- Allow your reindeer piece to dry completely before you display it proudly for all to see.
