Egg Matching Game For Kids – Learning Color Matching & More

It’s been awhile since I have shared a “Busy Bag Idea” on the Glued To My Crafts blog.

Actually – it’s been WAY TOO LONG! So today I’m making it MY MISSION to share a new learning game activity tutorial that is perfect before AND after Easter!

On that note, currently {as I write this Easter egg matching game post} Easter is probably far from our minds. BUT that means we still don’t have some plastic eggs laying around. Am I right?! Now with all that being said, before you throw them away, why not make a quick learning game out of them for your toddler or preschooler?

With this easy “Egg Matching Game” you can entertain your child for a bit AND teach them some color matching & fine motor skills. All for around $1.00 total {that’s if you already have the plastic eggs on hand!}

Besides the upcycled plastic eggs, all you need is a sheet of white craft felt, scissors, a few large colored pom poms and a hot glue gun. Very basic materials to make it happen today.

So on that note, if this something that interests you, keep scrolling to check out the quick how-to and recreate it for your toddler today! I just know you both are going to love it! Happy crafting, my friends!

Use Age-Appropriate Supplies - Choose craft supplies that are suitable for your child’s age. Check labels for recommendations and avoid items with small parts or sharp edges for younger children. Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible.
