- Jumbo Popsicle Sticks – 1 per flower craft
- Green Craft Paint
- Paint Brush
- School Glue
- Pencil or Pen
- Craft Scissors
- Cardstock Paper
- Loose Craft Glitter
Directions:
- Begin by gathering a popsicle stick for each flower craft your child will create.
- Help your child paint each popsicle stick entirely green and set them aside to dry.
- While waiting for the paint to dry, trace your child’s hands onto the colored cardstock.
- Carefully cut out the traced handprint.
- Apply glue along the edges of the handprint and sprinkle loose craft glitter for the border.
- Now take the green popsicle stick and attach the handprint to the top using glue.
- Wrap a piece of red and white baker’s twine around the popsicle stick, just below the handprint, and tie it into a bow.
- Print and cut out the circular tag with the poem.
