Get your little ones creative this Halloween season with this fun and spooky cotton ball ghost cupcake craft!

Craft Supplies:

  • Cupcake Printable – on our landing page
  • Cardstock Paper
  • White Cotton Balls
  • Scissors
  • School Glue
  • Halloween Stickers

Directions:

  • First print the free cupcake template listed above in the supply list. You will want to print it out on either a light shade of green or purple cardstock paper so the white cotton balls POP from the craft.
  • Next have children put a good amount of school glue in the area that is on top of the cupcake liner design on the printable.
  • Have children place their white cotton balls on top of the glue, until they have the desired look for their cupcake. They can make their cotton ball ghost frosting as tall or as thin as they like!
  • To finish off the Cotton Ball Ghost Cupcake kid craft, have children cut out some eyes/an oval shaped mouth out of the black cardstock {or use wiggle eyes} and glue those pieces on top of the attached cotton balls.
  • At this point in time they can also add some Halloween stickers to the cupcake to really tie the theme together. I added a witch hat but some spider or bat stickers for the “cherry” on top would be awesome too!
  • When done crafting, allow it all to dry completely before you display it proudly for ALL to see!
  • Then snap a few pictures and share them with us on our Facebook page to admire!
