Cotton Ball Covered Ghost Craft Idea For Kids

Happy Saturday friends! It’s time for another Halloween inspired kids craft idea on Glued To My Crafts and this one has an extra special thing attached to it!

I know not everyone is savvy when it comes to drawing by hand, so today’s craft has a FREE ghost outline printable template to go along with it.

The goal is for you to download, print and get straight to crafting up your cotton ball ghost friend! No need to come up with a design or anything of the sort! If all goes well {and there is a good amount of clicks on this very post} I’ll be doing more kid friendly craft templates like this in the future. But before we get into that – let’s talk about this friendly Halloween tutorial. Shall we?!

Our ghost is made out of cotton balls {hello inexpensive} and is fun for all ages. Young children can even practice their cutting skills by cutting along the thick black line in the template.

Cotton Ball Ghost - Kid Craft w/free printable template

Get creative with the kids this October! Show them how to turn cotton balls and a few craft supplies into a fun and spooky ghost – perfect for decorating your home for Halloween!

Craft Supplies:

  • Ghost Template – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • School Glue
  • Kid Scissors
  • Large Cotton Balls

Directions:

  • First print the ghost template on white cardstock paper.
  • Have your child cut out the ghost shape, along with the black eyes and mouth.
  • Discard the leftover paper.
  • Next put a good layer of glue all over the cutout.
  • Have your child place the cotton balls on top of the glue, until the ghost is completely covered.
  • Now glue the black cardstock eyes & mouth on top of the cotton balls.
  • To finish off your Halloween craft set aside the cotton ball covered piece to let it all dry completely before displaying proudly!.
