Today’s Popsicle Stick Christmas Ballerinas tutorial is a play on our original Valentine’s Day post from a few years back. With just a few changes of the colors, I was able to make some dancers could fit perfectly in the new Disney Nutcracker movie!

Christmas Ballerina Craft Supplies:
* Jumbo Popsicle Sticks {one per craft}
* Gold Pipe Cleaners {one per craft}
* Christmas Cupcake Liners {one per craft}
* School Glue or Hot Glue Gun
* Thin Tip Sharpie Markers
* Small Red Craft Bows
optional – rhinestones, glitter, glitter glue
Directions:
* You need ONE jumbo popsicle stick per craft. Pull out one {or more} for your ballerina.
* Next use the Sharpie markers to draw on your ballerina’s leotard, ballet shoes, face and hair onto the popsicle stick. Use our images for an example.
* Once done drawing, set aside.
* Next up – flatten/fold ONE cupcake liners in half and glue it to the center of your newly decorated popsicle stick. This is the ballerina’s tutu.
* Once the cupcake liner is down, wrap/bend a single gold pipe cleaner a few times around the center of the popsicle stick to resemble arms.
* At this point {and for the final step} you can also add other embellishments {like red bows, glitter, rhinestones} that you see fit to really make it your own.
& Then play and/or display your popsicle stick Christmas ballerinas proudly for ALL to see!!
