Directions:

  • First get the glue gun hot and ready!
  • Assemble the base of your snowman friend by gluing THREE jumbo popsicle sticks and TWO mini popsicle sticks together to look like a fence {3 next to each other and the mini popsicle sticks across}
  • Set aside to let it dry completely. Repeat for each snowman ballerina friend you want to make.
  • When dry enough, go ahead and squirt some white craft paint on your paper plate.
  • Paint your newly made popsicle stick shape completely white with the paint brush.
  • When done, set it aside to allow the paint to dry.
  • Now grab your cupcake liner, gold glitter scrapbook paper and scissors.
  • Take the cupcake liner and fold it in half for the ballerina tutu. Put a little bit of glue in the inside, so it doesn’t come apart.
  • Out of the gold paper, cut out a simple crown for her head.
  • When ready, hot glue the cupcake liner dress and paper tiara, to the painted popsicle stick shape from earlier.
  • Finally – take your silver pipe cleaner and fold it to make arms for your snowman. Go ahead and glue that to the back of the decorated popsicle stick shape.
  • The last step on these snowman puppets is to take the Sharpie markers and draw on a simple snowman face on the painted popsicle stick shape.
  • Add any other embellishments you see fit.
  • Then let it dry completely before displaying proudly!!!
