Today I’m sharing another stamping kid craft idea that is made with a material YOU would NEVER expect! FRESH, RAW BROCCOLI! I didn’t know how much people would love our fall version so I’m super excited to continue the fun into the winter season!
At Glued To My Crafts, we want YOU to celebrate the BEAUTIFUL snow covered trees outside with today’s Broccoli Stamped Winter Tree – Kid Craft tutorial. Just like using a craft sponge, a simple piece of fresh broccoli can be easily turned into a stamp that makes for great textured “snow” on a blank tree template!
Today’s creative painting technique is not only super simple for kids of all ages BUT it’s also really inexpensive too {especially if you have a few pieces of broccoli to spare from your dinner plans!}

Broccoli Stamped Winter Tree Supplies:
* Free Blank Tree Branch Printable {download HERE}
* Light Blue Cardstock
* Color Printer
* White Craft Paint
* Fresh RAW Broccoli
* Small Paper Plate
Directions:
* First things first – download our FREE TREE BRANCH PRINTABLE, listed above in the supply list.
* Find it on your computer and print it on a single sheet of light blue cardstock. You only need ONE print per snow covered winter tree craft.
* Now grab your small paper plate and the white craft paint.
* Squirt the paint on the paper plate.
* Now have your child grab their piece of broccoli. Using it like a sponge, have them dip it in the paint, then on the tree printable.
* Repeat until the leaves/tree starts to look full and covered in snow.
* When your child have the design they like, set it aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!!!

Hi Sheila – you might have to try printing it from a computer instead so you can adjust the printer settings. Or try playing around with the printer settings on your phone. Maybe there is a “print to page” setting you can select? – Stacey

I love this craft. I am confused about the tree template. When I open it in safari on my iPhone and try to print it, it shows up in the print preview as 3 pages. How can I fix this?
