Directions:

  • First print the basic tree shape printable on some white cardstock. You only need ONE tree print per craft. Print as many as you like!
  • Next place some green craft paint on a paper plate.
  • Have children use a small square piece of bubble wrap as their paint brush/stamp to paint some green leaves/foliage all over the tree {but make sure they avoid the trunk of the tree design.}
  • Once they are done with that step, squirt a tiny amount of red paint on the same paper plate with the green and hand over the wine cork.
  • Have children press the wine cork in the red paint, then on the printable they just decorated, several times to make “apples” in the tree. They only need a few apple “prints” though 🙂
  • When done decorating their tree, set aside to let it dry completely before you display it probably for all to see!
