Directions:
- First assemble the base of your marshmallow friend by gluing your mini popsicle sticks together to look like a fence {6 next to each and two across to make square shape.}
- Set aside to let it dry completely.
- Repeat for each marshmallow piece you want to make today.
- Now grab your bottles of paint, paint brushes and small paper plate>
- Squirt the two shades of color on the paper plate.
- Next have children paint the front of their popsicle stick shape completely white.
- Use the black to draw on facial embellishments.
- When done with the painting step, set it aside again to let it dry completely.
- Now grab the scrapbook paper and scissors.
- Cut out a half circle “hat” for your marshmallow friend.
- To finish off the Popsicle Stick Marshmallow Friend craft, have children glue on the hat, as well as gluing on the white pom pom to the top.
- Add any other embellishments you see fit {maybe some glitter or some tiny heart stickers for the cheeks!}
- Allow it to dry completely before displaying proudly!
