Craft Stick Marshmallow Friends

Winter means holiday fun and hot cocoa! Today we are serving up these smiling Mini Craft Stick Marshmallow Friends for our readers, in this easy step-by-step tutorial!

My motto is “the more the merrier” so I hope you get inspired to make one with your child, as well!

Mini Craft Stick Marshmallow Friends - Kid Craft

Marshmallow Friends Made From Popsicle Sticks

This idea is actually inspired by some Rae Dunn collector groups I “was” a member of, on Facebook {I had to leave them all because I had NO self controlling on wanting to BUY all the things, after seeing what others had. Plus Rae Dunn collectors are hard core… whoa.}

Anyways – I kept seeing in the group, these amazing pottery displays, with these adorable, mini marshmallow cups found on Amazon. People were even making DIY mini knit hats for them. Pumpkin hats – oh the cuteness!!! Every display of these mugs were getting cuter and cuter & with every new picture I saw in the group, the inspiration grew even bigger inside my head!

One thing led to another and that’s how today’s mini craft stick marshmallow friends were born! They are absolutely perfect for winter crafting for your preschooler or school-aged child! Plus you can add magnets to the back to display them on your fridge – hello even more cuteness!!!

To complete these adorable popsicle stick marshmallow friends, all you need is mini wood sticks, craft paint, small pom poms and some cardstock for their winter hats. That’s it, other than your basic craft scissors, paint brush and school glue. Really easy materials you probably already have on hand!

You’ll find the full tutorial wood stick marshmallow friend below, along with the supply list in detail. Just like the real deal, I hope you enjoy making this “sweet” marshmallow inspired craft today!

Don’t forget to drink some hot cocoa afterwards, in honor of your hard work! PSST – and don’t forget to also share pictures of your fun-filled afternoon, with us on our Facebook page! #gluedtomycrafts
