Craft Supplies:
- Flat Wooden Clothespins
- Paint Pens
- Cardstock Paper
- Glitter Cardstock Paper
- Craft Scissors
- School Glue
Directions:
- First grab ONE wooden clothespin per ballerina puppet.
- Grab the paint pens and draw on a face, hair and dress portion on the clothespin. I also painted on some shoes towards the bottom to complete my dancer look.
- When done painting, set aside to let it dry completely.
- Now grab your various sheets of cardstock paper and scissors.
- Go ahead and cut out a simple skirt for each piece you are making.
- Go ahead and now glue those pieces to the your painted clothespin piece.
- At this point, you can also add even more embellishments {like scrapbook crown stickers, glitter, rhinestones} that you see fit to really make it their own ballerina look. Remember – you can also add some long yarn or cardstock hair to the back of your pieces too!
- Once your Clothespin Wood Dancer look how you like, let them dry completely and display/play with proudly afterwards!
