Using an inexpensive $1 unfinished wood frame I found at Walmart and some white craft paint, we were able to create an awesome “snowy themed” piece that I know I will be proud to display – year after year!

Thumbprint Snowman Frame - Kid Craft Idea For Winter

This little snowman frame is so cute and easy to make! All you need are a few supplies, some creativity and voila – you have an adorable gift that’s sure to please.

Craft Supplies:

  • Unfinished Wooden Craft Frame
  • White Craft Paint
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Black Sharpie Paint Pen
  • Orange Sharpie Paint Pen
  • Baby Wipes

Directions:

  • First things first – squirt some white craft paint on a paper plate.
  • Have children press their thumb in the paint, then press it down on the wood craft piece.
  • Repeat the thumbprints all over the frame until you have a look you like.
  • Clean off the paint from fingers with a baby wipe.
  • Finish off your Thumbprint Snowman Frame by drawing on some eyes, carrot noses and black hats with Sharpie paint pens.
  • Then add other embellishments you see fit before displaying and gifting away!
