Handprint Turkey Wooden Frame – Thanksgiving Kid Craft
Gobble Gobble my friends! Can you believe Thanksgiving is THIS week?
I’m still trying to wrap my head around how fast this last month went. Where did the time go???

If you are still looking for a few ways to keep the kids busy this Thanksgiving break – I have the perfect craft tutorial for you today!
This Turkey Handprint Frame is relatively easy to put together AND it can hold some sweet pictures of your family gatherings this week. All this craft is, is a cheap $1 wood frame from Michaels, some paint and of course, handprints made out of cardstock.

PAIR YOUR THANKSGIVING PICTURE FRAME CRAFT WITH —> Super EASY Handprint Turkey Cards – Thanksgiving Kid Craft
Turkey Frame Craft Supplies:
* Wood $1 square frame – any size or brand you want!
* Yellow Craft Paint
* Foam Paint Brush
* Small Paper Plate
* Paper Craft Scissors
* Pencil or Pen
* Various Sheets of Colored Cardstock Paper {Red, Orange and shades of Brown}
* School Glue
* Loose Craft Glitter
* Loose Craft Feathers
* Various Paper Craft Punches
* Hot Glue Gun
Directions:
* First have your child paint their frame entirely yellow. Simply squirt some paint on a paper plate and hand over the paint brush.
* When they are done painting, set aside the painted frame to let it dry completely.
* Next, pick a hand – any hand!
* Trace your child’s hand on some colored cardstock. We did three handprints out of a light tan colored cardstock.
* Cut out the traced design and decorate them to make them stand out {we added loose craft feathers and glitter on each one of ours.}
* With the remaining cardstock sheets, cut out some other turkey embellishments {think large circular eyes, triangle nose, waddle etc}
* To finish it off the turkey inspired picture frame, hot glue the decorated handprints {feathers} on the back/top of the painted frame.
* Then hot glue the remaining paper turkey embellishments to the front of the frame to complete the face.
* Allow everything to dry completely.
* Then display proudly with your favorite picture inside!
