Well – you are in the right place with Glued To My Crafts because our Thumbprint Reindeer Frame tutorial is sure to be a real winner when it’s completely and it won’t break the bank either!

Using an inexpensive $1 wood frame I found at Walmart and my trusty brown ink pad, we were able to create an awesome piece that I know I will be proud to display – year after year!

Thumbprint Reindeer Frame - Christmas Gift Idea

Fingerprint Covered Reindeer Frame

Looking for a quick and easy craft project that kids will love? This thumbprint reindeer frame is perfect!

Craft Supplies:

  • Wood Craft Frame
  • Washable Brown Ink Pad or Craft Paint
  • Baby Wipes
  • Thin Tipped Black Marker
  • Craft Sequins
  • Small Wiggle Eyes
  • School Glue

Directions:

  • First have children press their thumb hard on the brown ink pad and then press it down on the wood craft piece.
  • Repeat all over the frame until you have a look you like.
  • Remove excess paint or ink from their fingers with a baby wipe & a quick trip to the sink.
  • Finish off your Thumbprint Reindeer Frame by drawing on some eyes and antlers with the black Sharpie marker on EACH brown thumbprint on the picture frame.
  • Then add other embellishments you see fit {like sequin red noses to make Rudolph and wiggle eyes to give them to life}
  • Now display and/or gift away proudly!
