Bubble Wrap Turtle Craft Supplies:
* Large Paper Plate {one per turtle craft}
* Bubble Wrap
* Hand-Held Stapler
* Green Colored Cardstock
* Kid Friendly Scissors
* Brown Craft Paint
* Paint Brush
* Large Wiggle Eyes
* School Glue
Directions:
* First cut your paper plate into a football shape. This will be the shell of the turtle.
* Now grab your bubble wrap and place it on top of your paper plate shape.
* Grab your scissors and cut around so you get a bubble wrap piece that will fit on top of the paper plate.
* Trim up if you need to.
* Grab your stapler.
* Staple the bubble wrap cutout piece to the paper plate. This will give a fun texture for the turtle’s shell.
* Now grab your brown paint and paint brush.
* Have children paint the bubble wrap to represent the shell {watch them giggle as they paint and the bubble wrap pops!}
* Once done painting, set it aside and grab the green cardstock.
* Trim out pieces to give the turtle life {think large head, long legs and a little tail}
* To finish off the Paper Plate Bubble Wrap Turtle – staple on the cardstock pieces to the paper plate and glue on the wiggle eyes on the head.
* At this point in time you can add other embellishments {like rhinestones, glitter or even feathers} you see fit before displaying proudly!!!
