Continuing on with the AWESOME theme – today I’m sharing a kid craft that is sure to be a BIG hit with those kids who love those crime-fighting turtles {maybe even be a fun craft to do at a birthday party – hint hint!} All it takes is some simple tissue paper, paper plates and cardstock! That’s it! Nothing intimidating!
So what are you waiting for? Let’s grab our craft supplies and make some TURTLE-LY cool Paper Plate Ninja Turtles together! COWABUNGA DUDE!!! #gluedtomycrafts
Paper Plate Ninja Turtle Craft Supplies:
* Paper Plate {large or small – one per craft}
* School Glue
* Green Tissue Paper
* Paint Brush
* Colored Cardstock {we used purple, orange, blue, black and white}
* Paper Craft Scissors
Directions:
* First have your child pick their color mask for their ninja turtle. Set aside.
* Next have your child cut their green tissue paper into small squares.
* Have your child paint a thick layer of glue all over their paper plate, really making sure you get every inch covered.
* Next have them place the tissue paper squares on top of the glue, until the paper plate is completely covered.
* To finish off the Paper Plate Ninja Turtle Face Kid Craft – cut out some mask and turtle facial features from the cardstock. Then glue those pieces to the front of the decorated paper plate, along with any other embellishments you see fit.
* Then display proudly for all to see!
