Three Little Pigs Made Out of Terra Cotta Pots
Hi parents of awesomely-creative-kids! {can I say you rock?!} Did you happen to catch a glimpse at our Paper Plate Wolf craft tutorial that I shared yesterday? Well – that particular craft was super fun and went perfectly along with the classic story Little Red Riding Hood.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! We are continuing on with the theme of classic children’s stories kid crafts, by giving the spotlight to those adorable Three Little Pigs today. Tied together with yesterday’s wolf craft and you are SURE to have a squealing good afternoon crafting & enjoying story time together!
Not only is our Terra Cotta Pot Three Little Pigs craft idea is super easy and fun for all ages BUT the finished pieces also make for great decor in the garden or even your house! You can even change up some of the supplies {swapping out Styrofoam cups instead of Terra Cotta pots} to really make it your own.

Here is a fun and easy pig craft idea for kids that uses terra cotta pots and acrylic paint.
Craft Supplies:
- Small Terra Cotta Pots
- Pink Craft Paint
- Large Foam Paint Brush
- Large Paper Plate
- Large Pink Craft Buttons
- Small Wiggle Eyes
- Pink Craft Foam
- Craft Scissors
- Low Temp Hot Glue Glue
Directions:
- First have children paint their terra cotta pot completely pink. Simply place the pot on the large paper plate upside down and have them go to town with the paint brush.
- Once they are done, set aside to let them dry completely.
- Next you will want to cut out some flower petal shaped pig ears from the pink craft foam.
- Once the paint is dry on the pots, simply hot glue on the foam pieces to the pot, along with a button nose.
- Then finally, hot glue on some wiggle eyes to give them life!
- Add other embellishments that you see fit and display your Terra Cotta Pot Pigs proudly!
