Paper Doily Pig Valentine's Day Cards

Use paper doilies to make your own adorable pig-shaped valentine cards for a cute homemade Valentine’s Day party craft.

Craft Supplies:

  • Paper Trimmer
  • Pink Heart Doilies
  • Pink Cardstock Paper
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Small Wiggle Eyes
  • Tape Runner Adhesive/Glue Stick
  • Black Sharpie Marker
  • Scissors
  • Large Glue Dots
  • Chocolate Heart Candies

Directions:

  • First, using a paper trimmer, first trim down your white cardstock to make 5×5″ card fronts {big enough to place your heart doily on it}
  • Repeat for each pig valentine card you want to make today.
  • Now, using tape runner adhesive or a glue stick, attach your heart doily to the center of each white cardstock piece. This will be the pig’s face.
  • Next, takeĀ  large glue dot and place ONE heart candy to the center of the paper doily. This is the pig’s nose.
  • Next grab your black Sharpie marker and draw on TWO lines in the center of the chocolate candy {while it’s wrapped} to make the pig’s nostrils stand out.
  • Finish off this handmade pig-themed valentine idea, by gluing on the small wiggle eyes and small triangular ears from the pink cardstock to the paper doily.
  • Then gift as is OR add other embellishments to make your own!
