Brown Wolf Craft Made Out of a Paper Plate

Well – continuing on with the fun big bad wolf book theme, today I’m sharing another easy brown wolf kids craft idea that goes along great with another favorite classic of mine. I call this craft the Paper Plate Wolf and it goes along PERFECTLY with the story, Little Red Hiding Hood.
Not only is today’s paper wolf kid craft super simple, inexpensive and fun for all ages – but it also ties everything together with the classic story. You can easily make a full afternoon out of it as you celebrate some crafty time, as well as story time!

If you’re looking for a fun and easy craft idea, look no further than this paper plate wolf! This simple project is perfect for kids of all ages.
Craft Supplies:
- Large Paper Plate
- Brown Tissue Paper
- Black Cardstock Paper
- Brown Cardstock Paper
- White Cardstock Paper
- School Glue
- Craft Scissors
- Stapler
Directions:
- First cut your brown tissue paper into small squares {let the kids practice their cutting skills!}
- Take your paper plate and put a good amount of glue all over it.
- Have children place the tissue paper on top of the glue, until the paper plate is completely covered.
- While they are working on that, cut out the wolf’s facial features from the cardstock. Think eyes, nose, ears etc.
- To finish off the Paper Big Bad Wolf kid craft – staple/glue the cardstock pieces in their designated spots on the paper plate.
- Then display proudly! {or add other embellishments to really make it your own!}
