Unicorn Puppet Mask Craft Supplies:
- Large White Paper Plate
- Kid Friendly Craft Scissors
- Hand-Held Office Stapler
- Colored Cardstock
- Markers, Crayons, Colored Pencils etc.
- Colorful Craft Yarn
- Decorative Flowers/Stickers
- Glitter/Rhinestones
- Popsicle Stick
- Hot Glue Gun
- Glue Gun Sticks
Directions:
- First cut out a half circle moon out of the center of your paper plate {don’t cut the rim though!} to create an opening for your face in the mask.
- Before you discard the inner paper plate piece you just removed, cut out TWO unicorn ears out of it. Now staple those to your paper plate.
- Next grab some cardstock and cut out a horn for the unicorn. Staple that onto the paper plate as well.
- Now grab the yarn. Cut off a few strands and tie them together to make a “mane” for the unicorn. Staple and/or hot glue it to the paper plate.
- Next is the embellishments – go wild! Decorate your unicorn however you like! From paper punches to fake flowers, there is no rules on this step!
- Finally – hot glue a popsicle stick to the bottom of the unicorn paper mask for easy holding.
- Then play with it proudly as you hold it up to your face and peek through the opening.
