Get your kids creative juices flowing and their imaginations soaring with this awesome cupcake liner robot card craft idea!

Craft Supplies:

  • Silver Cupcake Liners
  • Cardstock Paper
  • Glue Stick or School Glue
  • Craft Scissors
  • Wiggle Eyes
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Small Rhinestones
  • Sharpie Markers
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First flatten out ONE silver cupcake liner, per card, with your hands.
  • Now, using your scissors, cut off a little bit of the cupcake liner to make a more “square” head shape for your robot friend. Just a sliver off on two opposite sides.
  • Next glue that cupcake liner to the front of your cardstock card. This may take some extra effort but it’s super easy for kids to do.
  • Once the cupcake liner is down, it’s time to decorate! Grab your remaining cardstock pieces and trim out robotic pieces to give the robots life {think hard line shapes, like squares and rectangles for his ears & mouth.}
  • To finish the cupcake liner robots on card fronts, have children glue on the cardstock pieces to the cupcake liner shape and add other embellishments that you see fit to make their robots. I added rhinestone noses, wiggle eyes and a pipe cleaner antenna.
  • Then write a sweet message inside and gift away to friends & family!
  • Don’t forget to snap a few pictures of your paper scrap robot cards and share them with us on your social media sites! #gluedtomycrafts

Craft Activity Safety Guidelines:

Always Ensure Adult Supervision - Young children should be supervised at all times when engaging in craft activities. This is essential to keep them safe and ensure materials are used correctly. Use Age-Appropriate Supplies - Choose craft supplies that are suitable for your child’s age. Check labels for recommendations and avoid items with small parts or sharp edges for younger children. Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible. Organize and Secure Supplies - Keep all craft tools and materials organized. Store sharp objects, small parts, and potentially hazardous items out of reach when not in use. Following these guidelines will ensure that crafts remain fun, creative, and, most importantly, safe for everyone involved!
