Paper Bag Robot Craft Idea For Kids

This fun and creative project is suitable for a wide range of ages, uses materials most people already have around the house, and just takes fifteen minutes to complete! Happy crafting, my friends!

Craft Supplies:

  • Large, Brown Paper Bag
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • ROBOT Printable – on our landing page
  • Crayons, Markers and Coloring Pencils
  • Gray or Silver Craft Paint
  • Foam Paint Brush
  • Scissors
  • School Glue
  • Stapler
  • Medium Sized Heart Stickers
  • Silver Pipe Cleaner
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First lay the paper bag on a flat surface, with the flap facing you.
  • Next have your child paint their paper bag completely gray or silver.
  • Set it aside to let it dry completely.
  • While that is drying, color in the robot head from the printable.
  • When done coloring, trim out the head shape and discard excess paper.
  • Once the paint is completely dry on the paper bag, glue/staple the head paper piece to the painted paper bag, right on top of the flap.
  • The final step is to add the heart stickers for the buttons and the pipe cleaner {curled} for the antenna.
  • Then display your awesome paper lunch sack robot craft piece proudly for all to see or use it as a Valentine’s Day robot puppet!
