Paper Plate Yellow Leopard Craft

With just some simple supplies you probably already have around the house, including a paper plate and paint, your child can create their very own polka dot leopard friend within minutes!

Paper Plate Leopard Craft Idea

It’s the perfect way to spend quality time with your kids while supporting their creativity and imagination.

Plus, it won’t take long to complete – just a few simple materials like paper plates, paint, scissors, glue, our free provided printable and some of your own encouraging guidance will turn any budding artist into a master craftsman! So let’s get started!

Craft Supplies:

  • Large Paper Plate
  • Scissors
  • YELLOW Paint Crayon
  • BLACK Paint Crayon
  • Cardstock Paper
  • Leopard Printable – on our landing page
  • Small Googly Eyes
  • Stapler

Directions:

  • First grab your large paper plate and scissors,
  • Cut the paper plate in half, straight up the center to make TWO equal pieces.
  • Now carefully cut out the center portion on each paper plate half. You just want the rim left for each spotted leopard craft.
  • Next grab your paint crayons.
  • Start off by painting your paper plate half completely yellow.
  • Follow that up with a few black dots in random spots.
  • When you are done with the coloring step, set it aside to let it dry completely.
  • Now grab your head print out, along with the scissors.
  • Trim out one the leopard head shapes.
  • Go ahead and decorate it to match your paper plate piece. Don’t forget the googly eyes so he can see!
  • To finish off the Paper Plate Yellow Leopard – simply staple the finished head piece in place on the paper plate, on either end to complete.
  • Then display proudly for all to see!
