Craft Supplies:
Before starting your popsicle stick giraffe puppet, gather these supplies:
- Jumbo Popsicle Sticks – 1 per craft
- Mini Popsicle Sticks – 3 per craft
- Black Craft Paint
- Yellow Craft Paint
- Small Paper Plate
- Paint Brushes
- School Glue
- Scissors
- Black Cardstock Paper
- Large Wiggle Eyes – 1 per craft
Directions:
- Grab your popsicle sticks {one jumbo and three mini} and glue.
- Glue together the craft sticks {using my picture as example} to look like the neck and head of the giraffe.
- Set aside to let it dry completely.
- Repeat for each puppet you want to make today.
- Next grab your craft paint and squirt it on the paper plate.
- Go ahead and paint your popsicle stick shape completely yellow.
- Once done, using the other end of the paint brush, drawing on little black dots all over your painted piece.
- Set aside to let it dry completely.
- Now you are ready for the giraffe horns. Grab your black cardstock and cut out some small horns for the top of the craft.
- Finish off the Popsicle Stick Giraffe craft by gluing on your wiggle eye and cardstock paper piece.
- Then set in an undisturbed area for it to dry completely, before displaying/playing with proudly!!!
