The Directions:
- First things first – grab all your paper sheets and scissors to cut out the embellishments.
- Out of the various sheets of cardstock paper – trim out some ears, a large nose and of course, several strips of black for the stripes. I also cut out some “hair” from the remaining cardstock for mine but that is completely optional for yours.
- Next grab your white paper bag.
- Lay it flat on the table, so the bottom portion {the lip of the bag} is facing you but it’s facing UP on your work surface. Imagine that the bottom portion of the bag is the zebra’s head.
- Now use your school glue and hand-held office stapler to attach all the paper pieces you just made, to the white paper bag. The facial features go towards the top of the paper bag {the bottom portion of the bag I mentioned earlier} while the stripes can go anywhere on the remainder of the bag {even on the other side of the bag if you like!}
- Finally – glue on the wiggle eyes to bring it all to life, while you add other embellishments to give it a custom look!
- Now play with your Zebra Puppet and/or display it proudly for all to see!
