- Use a paper trimmer to trim out each section in the printable and make FOUR cards total.
- Adhere each cut out piece to a single cardstock card front. Use your paper trimmer {or scissors} to trim down the card if need be.
- Next open up your green ink pad up and set it on your table.
- Have children place their thumb on the ink pad, then in the center of the horseshoe design in one of the cards.
- Now add a second fingerprint design, right next to the first, to make a heart shape {or if you like, make a shamrock or four-leaf clover instead!}
- Repeat for each card.
- Use baby wipes to remove excess ink off of fingers before washing hands completely at the sink.
- Once done with the ink step, children can color in the horseshoe design in each card however they like, while also adding small heart stickers to the center of their fingerprint designs.
- Then the last step is to write a sweet message inside of each, before they gift them all away!
