This cauldron craft project is not only incredibly fun but it helps kids build their fine motor skills while they explore the world through creativity!

Craft Supplies:

  • Styrofoam Cup
  • Black Craft Paint
  • Foam Paint Brush
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Clear Tape or Stapler
  • Yellow Tissue Paper

Directions:

  • First things first – squirt some black craft paint on the paper plate. Have your child paint their cup completely black.
  • When they are done painting, set it aside to allow it to dry completely.
  • Once dry – arrange your FIVE pipe cleaners in a rainbow shape/design and tape them to the inside of the painted Styrofoam cup. If tape doesn’t work – try stapling them instead.
  • To finish, fill your Leprechaun cauldron with sweet treats or yellow tissue paper to give the effect of a black kettle filled with gold and a rainbow coming out of it.
