These cute leprechaun hat masks are easy to assemble and perfect for a St. Patrick’s party or just making something special together, during the month of March!
Craft Supplies:
- Large White Paper Plate
- Scissors
- Orange Craft Paint
- Paint Brush
- Printer
- Leprechaun Printable – on our landing page
- White Cardstock Paper
- Markers, Crayons, Colored Pencils etc.
- Stapler and/or Glue
- Jumbo Popsicle Stick
Directions:
- First cut out a large circle out of the center of your paper plate {don’t cut the rim though!} to create an opening for your face in the leprechaun gnome mask.
- Discard inner piece.
- Next up – use a paint brush to paint the remaining paper plate piece completely orange.
- When done painting, set it aside to let it dry completely.
- Now grab your printed printable and your choice of coloring material.
- Color in the hat and nose designs in the printable.
- When done coloring, cut out the two pieces and discard excess paper.
- Go ahead and staple {or glue} your colored in pieces to the painted paper plate. I suggest starting with the nose and then adding on the hat on top.
- Finally, the last step is to secure the popsicle stick in place. Simply staple or glue it in place to make a handle.
- At this point in time you can add any other embellishments you see fit.
- Then play with it proudly as you hold it up to your face and peek through the opening.
