Cupcake Liner Love Bird Card Craft For Valentine's Day Cupcake Liner Love Bird Card Craft For Valentine's Day

These easy to make love birds are adorable and fun for kids. The best part is, you can use any colors of cupcake liners you like!

Craft Supplies:

  • Mini Cupcake Liners
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Cardstock Cards
  • Glue Stick or Tape Runner
  • Scissors
  • Small Wiggle Eyes
  • Orange Marker
  • Black Marker
  • Red Marker
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First things first – grab your mini cupcake liners {two per love bird card} and flatten them both out with your hands.
  • The next step is per cupcake liner. Go ahead and fold your first cupcake liner in half and place a small amount of glue in the inside of it, so it won’t come apart.
  • Repeat for the second cupcake liner piece. You now have two half circle pieces that will become the bodies of your love birds.
  • Now glue those two folded cupcake liner pieces onto your card front. You want it to look like the bird are facing each other.
  • Next up – the wiggle eyes. Add one to each cupcake liner piece.
  • Follow that up by taking the orange Sharpie marker and drawing on a triangle beak & stick legs for each bird.
  • To finish off the cupcake liner love bird card – take the red Sharpie marker and draw a heart design above & in between the two bird designs.
  • Go ahead and use the black Sharpie marker to write a quirky or punny message on the front of your card {there are few examples of sayings below!}
  • Then add other embellishments you see fit. Feel free to change it up and really make it your own!
  • When done, allow it all to dry completely before you give it away proudly!
