Directions:

  • First things first – if you haven’t made your card yet, go ahead and do that. Simply fold your black cardstock paper in half to make a basic card design.
  • Now grab your large potato and knife.
  • Cut your potato in half. You only need ONE potato half for your craft. This is your stamp for the belly of the penguin.
  • Squirt some white craft paint on your paper plate.
  • Rub your potato half in the white paint, until it’s completely covered.
  • Next take the potato half and stamp it in the center of the black cardstock card front.
  • Lift up the potato half and set it on the paper plate.
  • Now grab your orange cardstock paper and scissors.
  • Cut out a triangle nose, as well as two heart shaped feet for the penguin.
  • Using the glue stick, secure the paper piece to the stamped design.
  • To finish off the potato stamped penguin card, glue on the wiggle eyes so he can see.
  • Now either use a metallic marker to write a message in the inside or you can adhere a small piece of white paper to write your message on instead.
  • Add any other embellishments you see fit, before gifting away your stamped potato penguin card proudly!
  • Discard the used potato afterwards {please do not attempt to eat it afterwards.}
