Celebrate mom this upcoming Mother’s Day holiday, with this awesome and super unique Painted Footprint Flower Bouquet Card kids craft idea!

To complete this fun craft, all you need is some thick cardstock paper, washable craft paint and a few paint brushes to complete this flower footprint art tutorial. Very basic materials that you probably have in your home right now!

On that note, it’s an easy peasy Mother’s Day card craft idea that will melt mom’s heart for sure! This handmade DIY can also be placed in a beautiful picture frame and/or scrapbook page for safe keeping. Think of it as TWO gifts in one if you go that route!

Footprint Flower Bouquet Card - Kid Craft

Whether it’s for Mother’s Day, a birthday, or any other festive occasion, this adorable keepsake is sure to put a bright smile on anyone’s face!

Card Supplies:

  • Cardstock Paper
  • Washable Craft Paint
  • Paint Brushes
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Baby Wipes
  • Paper Scissors
  • Glue Stick or Tape Runner Adhesive

Directions:

  • First paint the bottom of your child’s foot and press it down in the center of the white paper. This will be the bouquet part that will hold the flowers.
  • Remove excess paint from your child’s foot with a baby wipe.
  • Next paint some green stems and small flowers coming from the toes of the footprint.
  • To finish off the Footprint Flower Bouquet card – trim around the design with scissors and attach it to a folded cardstock card front piece.
  • Then add other embellishments you see fit {like scrapbook stickers, glitter etc.}
  • Write a sweet message inside the card and gift it away proudly!
