Painted Handprint Flowerpot - Kids Craft Tutorial For Mother's Day

With just a few supplies and some creative time together, your family can make these cheery flowers that will last through any season. This easy kid’s activity also has an extra special twist – it doubles as a meaningful handmade gift that everyone is sure to love!

Craft Supplies:

  • Cardstock Paper {any color you like!}
  • Green Craft Paint
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Foam Paint Brush
  • Large Flower Stickers
  • Baby Wipes

Directions:

  • First first the green craft paint on the paper plate.
  • Take the foam paint brush and paint the palm your child’s hand completely green.
  • Working quickly, press it in the center of the colored cardstock.
  • Lift up their hand carefully and clean off excess paint with a few baby wipes & a quick trip to the sink.
  • Set aside the paper with the handprint, to let it dry completely.
  • Once the painted handprint is dry, paint/glue on a piece of brown cardstock paper to represent the flowerpot.
  • For each finger, stick a flower sticker on the cardstock.
  • If desired, embellish with other embellishments.
  • Then display proudly for ALL to see! That’s it!
