I LOVE Handprint Keepsake For Kids To Make Mom

No need to scramble on coming up with a unique gift idea for mom on Mother’s Day. With the simple steps and the free I LOVE You Mom printable I have designed & provided below, you can make this handprint keepsake idea with your child, in just a matter of a few minutes and little to no hassle.

Just save, print and add a painted handprint {maybe mom’s favorite color?} to the center of the “love” design to complete it! That’s it. It’s a simple craft that is quick and easy for the little crafters in your home to tackle with ease! Then once the handprint Mother’s Day keepsake piece is completely dry, you can place it in an inexpensive picture frame, so mom can show it off in her home all year long!

Handprint I Love You Mom Keepsake Craft For Mother's Day

Craft Supplies:

  • Free I LOVE You Mom Template Printable {GRAB IT ON BOX.COM}
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Color Printer
  • Washable Craft Paint {in mom’s favorite color or red}
  • Large Foam Paint Brush
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Baby Wipes
  • optional materials – embellishments like heart stickers, glitter glue, rhinestones etc.

Directions:

  • First grab the LOVE keepsake printable that listed above in the supply list.
  • Decide what color you want the handprint to be.
  • Next grab that shade of color in craft paint, as well as your foam paint brush and paper plate.
  • Squirt the craft paint on the paper plate.
  • Pick one of your child’s hands {left or right – doesn’t matter!}
  • Paint the palm of your child’s hand completely and press it down in the center of the printable, between the L – VE letters.
  • Now carefully lift up your child’s hand from the printable and clean off the excess paint with a baby wipe & a quick trip to the sink.
  • Go ahead and add other embellishments like heart stickers or glitter glue.
  • Then display/gift away proudly your child’s beautiful handprint I love you keepsake piece!

Tools:

  • Color Printer
  • 1 Large Foam Paint Brush
  • 1 Small Paper Plate
  • Baby Wipes

Supplies:

  • Cardstock Paper
  • Craft Paint

Instructions:

  • First print out our provided printable, in color, on a single sheet of white cardstock paper. You only need one print per craft.
  • Now decide what color you want the handprint to be.
  • Next grab that shade of color in craft paint, as well as your foam paint brush and paper plate.
