Black Cat At Night Craft

Welcome my dear crafty friends to Glued To My Crafts! You are in the right place if you are looking for some fun Halloween crafts to make with your child this season. I really do strive to make it easy with each publication I hit post on!

Today’s latest tutorial from us, is a spooky “eerie-sistible” paper craft idea that I titled Paper Plate Cat In The Night. Our feline friend is walking on a tree branch, in the moonlight. Do you see my vision?

To recreate this Halloween night idea, all you need is some inexpensive supplies like yellow craft paper, a jumbo popsicle stick, a paper plate and our free black cat printable. That’s it! You too can pull our cat and moon craft idea, together for your child for on the cheap and within minutes!

Black Cat In The Night - Kid Craft

Create a spooky yet cute black cat craft with paper plates and some imagination! This Halloween night is sure to be purr-fectly frightful.

Craft Supplies:

  • Small Paper Plate
  • Yellow Craft Paint
  • Cat Printable – Landing Page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Scissors
  • School Glue
  • Jumbo Popsicle Stick

Directions:

  • First squirt some yellow craft paint in the center of the small paper plate.
  • Use the foam paint brush to paint your paper plate completely yellow.
  • When done, set it aside to allow it to dry completely.
  • If you haven’t already, go ahead and grab our free cat printable listed above in the supply list.
  • Go ahead and print it out on a single sheet of white cardstock.
  • There are TWO cats in the printable. Go ahead and trim out one cat, with scissors, for your craft {save the other to make this craft again or use it for something else!}
  • Next grab your jumbo popsicle stick, the school glue and painted paper plate.
  • Go ahead and place a line of school glue to the back of it and place it down on your painted paper plate.
  • Finally, to finish the paper plate black cat in the night craft, add the black cat cutout on top of the popsicle stick so it looks like your cat is walking on the tree branch.
  • Add any other embellishments you see fit {maybe some bat stickers!}
  • When done, set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Then display proudly for all to see!
