Black Cat In The Night - Kid Craft

Craft a spooky and fun Halloween decoration with our Paper Plate Black Cat in the Night tutorial! Perfect for kids, simple supplies, and creative fun await!

Craft Supplies:

  • Small Paper Plate
  • Yellow Craft Paint
  • Cat Printable – Landing Page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Scissors
  • School Glue
  • Jumbo Popsicle Stick

Directions:

  1. First squirt some yellow craft paint in the center of the small paper plate.
  2. Use the foam paint brush to paint your paper plate completely yellow.
  3. When done, set it aside to allow it to dry completely.
  4. If you haven’t already, go ahead and grab our free cat printable listed above in the supply list.
  5. Go ahead and print it out on a single sheet of white cardstock.
  6. There are TWO cats in the printable. Go ahead and trim out one cat, with scissors, for your craft {save the other to make this craft again or use it for something else!}
  7. Next grab your jumbo popsicle stick, the school glue and painted paper plate.
  8. Go ahead and place a line of school glue to the back of it and place it down on your painted paper plate.
  9. Finally, to finish the paper plate black cat in the night craft, add the black cat cutout on top of the popsicle stick so it looks like your cat is walking on the tree branch.
  10. Add any other embellishments you see fit {maybe some bat stickers!}
  11. When done, set aside to let it dry completely.
  12. Then display proudly for all to see!

Paper Plate Moon Craft For Halloween

Prepare your creative haven by laying down a protective cover before the crafting magic begins!

Directions:

  • First squirt some yellow craft paint in the center of the small paper plate.
    1 Small Paper Plate, Craft Paint
