- Assemble the base of your bunny friend by gluing THREE jumbo popsicle sticks and TWO mini popsicle sticks together to look like a fence {3 next to each other and the mini popsicle sticks across.}
- Set aside to let it dry completely.
- While you are waiting for that to dry, grab your bunny head print out.
- Use whatever color you want and color in one of the bunny heads in the printable {or skip this step for a white bunny!}
- When done coloring, go ahead and trim out the bunny head with scissors.
- Save the remaining bunny heads on the printout for later.
- Set aside the head cutout.
- Now grab the glued together popsicle stick shape, along with your craft paint, paper plate and paint brush.
- Squirt your paint on the paper plate.
- Go ahead and paint your newly made popsicle stick shape {the bunny’s body} however you like.
- Go ahead and also paint your TWO mini clothespins at this time, as well.
- Set all the painted pieces aside.
- Now grab the colored sheet of cardstock and the craft scissors.
- Cut out TWO small oval shaped bunny feet for your bunny.
- Go ahead and take the black Sharpie marker & draw on some “paw” features to give it dimension.
- When done with all the cutting/drawing, it’s time to assemble it all!
- Go ahead and glue ALL the paper pieces to the painted popsicle stick shape from earlier.
- This next step is CRUCIAL. Take your TWO painted mini clothespins and pinch them around ONE decorative Easter egg shape to look like the bunny’s arms/hands is holding it.
- Go ahead and hot glue the combined piece you just made, to the center of the painted popsicle stick shape.
- To finish off the Popsicle Stick Easter Egg Holding Bunny craft, add any other embellishments you see fit. Maybe some more sparkle or a small bow.
- Then let it dry completely before displaying proudly!!!
