Easter is just around the corner, and we’ve got the perfect craft idea for kids! This paper bag bunny puppet is easy to make and tons of fun.

Lunch Sack Bunny Craft

Hi my crafty friends! Easter is literally right around the corner {yikes!} If you are looking for some last minute craft ideas to celebrate the upcoming spring holiday – you are in the right place with today’s paper bag bunny art project idea!

Just like with every holiday, this is the perfect moment to carve some time out of your busy schedule and let the kids get creative & in a festive mood by doing some themed crafts. I honestly wouldn’t “celebrate” the holidays any other way!

So for today’s post, I’m sharing a simple white bunny from a paper bag kids craft tutorial that is a brilliant way to keep little ones busy, as well as letting them channel that inner artist side within.

Our “hoppin” Easter friend is super simple to assemble, really inexpensive and fun for children of all ages! Kids can even pretend play with the finished paper bag easter bunny craft and really let that imagination go wild!

Craft Supplies:

  • Paper Lunch Sack – 1 per bunny craft
  • White Craft Paint
  • Foam Paint Brush
  • School Glue
  • Craft Scissors
  • Black Cardstock Paper
  • Pink Cardstock Paper
  • White Cardstock Paper

Directions:

  • First have your child paint their lunch sack bag completely white.
  • Once done with that step, set aside the paper bag to let it dry completely.
  • Next cut out the bunny features from the cardstock. Think eyes, nose, whiskers and of course, those big ears!
  • To finish off the Paper Bag Bunny, simply glue on the cardstock pieces to the paper bag.
  • Then display and/or play with proudly!
