Spring is in full swing and I’m sharing a treat that is perfect for the warmer weather outside. Although real mud and worms are NOT at all appealing – this “Dirt Pudding” dessert is pretty delicious. It’s something I grew up on {often eaten during summer camps.} And if you didn’t {like my husband} you were clearly missing out!
This pudding treat is relatively easy to pull together – making it a fun, afternoon snack to make with the kids. All you need is a few simple ingredients and a little imagination to put it all together.
With just 15 minutes of your time – you will have this creepy-crawly dessert ready to be devoured. You can make it after a day of playing outside OR even for a “dirt” themed birthday party. Whenever you decide to make it, I hope you enjoy it! #gluedtomycrafts
Ingredients:
* Instant Chocolate Pudding
* Milk
* Crushed Oreos
* Gummy Worms
* Plastic Cups/Spoons
Directions:
* Prepare your instant chocolate pudding mix exactly how it tells you on the box. Set aside.
* Place your Oreos in a plastic baggie. Seal close. Take a rolling pin {or other kitchen utensil} and crush the Oreos to make it look like dirt.
* Take your chocolate pudding and scoop some in the plastic cups. Leave some room on the top for your “dirt.” Add a gummy worm {or two} into the pudding mixture.
* Sprinkle some “dirt” on top of the pudding.
* Place another gummy worm on top, to give the look of the worm coming out of the dirt.
* Serve immediately or store in fridge. Enjoy!
